Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

These terms apply whenever you use this website or engage with Sortly through WhatsApp or any other channel we operate. By using our services, you agree to them.

1. What Sortly is

Sortly is an independent digital engagement platform. We connect people looking for a service with providers who may be able to help them. Sortly is not an insurer, not a financial advisor, and not a call centre. We do not provide financial advice, insurance products, or intermediary services as defined under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS). All regulatory obligations relating to any product or advice you receive remain with the provider you’re introduced to.

2. How the service works

When you get in touch with us, we may ask you a small number of questions to understand what you’re looking for. With your explicit consent, we introduce you to a provider suited to your needs. What happens after that introduction, including any product, quote, or advice you receive, is entirely between you and that provider, under their own terms.

3. No guarantee of outcome

Sortly makes introductions. We don’t guarantee that a provider will contact you within any particular timeframe, that you’ll be offered a product or service, or that any outcome will meet your expectations. We also don’t control the conduct, pricing, or service standards of any third-party provider.

4. Eligibility

Our services are intended for individuals aged 18 and older. By engaging with us, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally entitled to provide it.

5. Consent and opting out

We only share your information with a provider once you’ve given clear consent to that specific introduction. You can withdraw consent and stop any further contact at any time by replying STOP within a WhatsApp conversation, or by emailing info@sortly.co.za.

6. Intellectual property

The Sortly name, logo, and the content on this website belong to Sortly and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written permission.

7. Third-party providers

Sortly is not responsible for the products, services, conduct, or communications of any third-party provider you’re introduced to. Any agreement you enter into with a provider is solely between you and them.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Sortly is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or our engagement services, or from your dealings with any third-party provider we’ve introduced you to.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time as our platform evolves. The current version will always be available on this page, with the date it was last updated shown above.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
